Light Nightclub Announces All-Star DJ Lineup (Extended)

Combine Cirque du Soleil's artistic creativity with music from some of the best DJs around the globe, and you get Light, Las Vegas's highly anticipated nightclub in Mandalay Bay set to open on April 26, 2013. Possessing a list of the industry's best of the best DJs, Light is poised to set the stage for an incredible nightlife experience unprecedented by any other club.

So who are the DJs who will be lighting up the dance floor? Skrillex, Sebastian Ingrosso, Zedd and Baauer are the first members of residency, and they're only part of a much more extensive all-star lineup. Just recently, Light has also announced an impressive list of other DJs who will be joining them: Axwell, Alesso, Nicky Romero, Thomas Gold, A-Trak, Mat Zo, Otto Knows, Alvin Risk, Andy Caldwell, Bassjackers, Carl Kennedy, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hook N Sling, Sebastien Drums, and Steve Powers.

The DJs themselves are expressing excitement at what's to come with the opening of Light. Axwell, who has been awarded his first-ever Vegas DJ residency, says, "It felt right that the show I would choose to do in Vegas would be an experiment between our music coming together with the experience of Cirque du Soleil and Moment Factory." Alesso, upon describing the upcoming opportunity to take Cirque du Soleil and Moment Factory's creativity into his live show performance visuals, exclaims that "this is really next level." Nicky Romero says he is "over the moon that [his] event has found a home here [in Las Vegas]." (MSOPR)

With Cirque du Soleil's creative genius as the mastermind behind Light, we're hoping to see some of their signature theatrical elements as part of the experience. Nightclub entertainment will no longer be constrained to the music, laser lights and LED visuals. Light is set to redefine the entire experience with an elaborately produced spectacle that will enhance the music listening experience to a whole new level.
